The Morakniv model KANSBOL, named after a locality near Mora, is a reliable outdoor knife that surprises with its low weight. The knife features a blade made of stainless Sandvik steel 12C27 and is equipped with the typical Scandinavian grind, which allows for easy sharpening. The blade thickness has been tapered in the front area to enable finer carving work. As with other models from Morakniv, the spine of the blade is intentionally kept angular to serve as a friction surface for a fire starter. The olive green handle made of slip-resistant TPE plastic provides a secure grip while working. In the Multi-Mount variant offered here, the knife comes with a plastic sheath and a MOLLE-compatible mounting system.
