The night vision clip-on attachment Dedal-555 has no impact on the daytime rifle scope that is mounted on or removed from the rifle. It retains all the tactical capabilities of the daytime scope, such as optical magnification with zoom, ballistic and wind adjustments, exit pupil position, and low height of the optical axis of the device in relation to the rifle barrel. All of this significantly increases the accuracy of the shot and the comfort of system use under various lighting conditions. The large exit pupil allows the use of this clip-on with high magnification scopes (up to 12×). The eyepiece of the clip-on provides a distortion- and aberration-free high-resolution image across the entire field of view. The manual adjustment of the IIT gain control minimizes slight noise grains in the image to ensure maximum comfort for the viewer. This feature is particularly useful during longer observation periods with changing weather conditions. A brighter image means a better identification range. Lower brightness allows for quick adaptation of the eye to the surrounding darkness.
