Silencer ERA SOB1 caliber 5.7 - 9.5 mm

The ERA® SILENCER was developed with the goal of achieving the best possible damping with a compact design and minimal weight – all while being fully suitable for Magnum use and ensuring a long lifespan. The most important requirement for a silencer in hunting applications is to effectively dampen the muzzle blast to protect the hearing of both humans and dogs. The dampers of the SOB series are designed as telescopic silencers (Over-Barrel). A part of the silencer extends backward over the barrel, allowing for very good damping values to be realized with a short net length. Additionally, the typical first-shot noise found in other silencers is reduced to an absolute minimum. Recoil and muzzle flash are also significantly diminished. The ERA® SILENCER can be easily disassembled: the threaded bushings are interchangeable. By replacing the threaded bushing, the ERA® SILENCER can also be used on other firearms of the same caliber but with different barrel threads. Also included is a protective shield that is mounted at the rear end of the Over-Barrel silencer. It protects the barrel thread and the silencer from damage due to lateral forces and prevents the ingress of dirt and snow. The surface structure significantly reduces the adherence of powder residues inside the silencer. Externally milled longitudinal grooves provide the necessary grip during installation and ensure faster cooling. The stepped design protects the sealing rings, as there is no contact with the powder residues in the outer tube during disassembly. A coating according to MIL-SPEC MIL-A-8625F Type III meets the highest requirements for hardness and corrosion resistance. Thus, the ERA® SILENCER offers numerous advantages and is excellently equipped to withstand everyday use in hunting.
