Description

Thermal Imaging Binoculars
ACCOLADE Thermal Imaging Technology with Maximum User Comfort
The operational range of Accolade thermal imaging binoculars includes professional and semi-professional applications, including hunting, scouting, and rescue operations. Hunters searching for game in the woods; hiking enthusiasts wanting to protect their camping setup at night; security personnel searching for suspects; civil protection workers looking for survivors or missing persons; - for all applications, the Accolade offers the appropriate function.
Unprecedented Thermal Sensitivity < 25 mK NETD
The thermal imaging sensor with NETD <25 mK ensures perfect detail recognition even under the harshest weather conditions with low thermal contrast. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible in rain and fog or on cold mornings under the most challenging conditions for thermal cameras.
Integrated Laser Rangefinder
The integrated high-precision laser rangefinder operates in two measurement modes: single measurement and scanning. The scanning mode allows the user to adapt to rapidly changing shooting distances to take a precise shot.
Ideal for Prolonged Observation
The binocular view minimizes eye fatigue during prolonged observation and provides a natural image. The human brain is wired to receive visual information from two channels synchronously. When one eye is used for observation, the brain receives information from only one channel, leading to quicker fatigue.
Large Detection Distance
Detecting distant objects is one of the most important points for using these optical devices outdoors. High-quality optics combined with the best thermal imaging sensor provide you with the greatest possible range.
Adjustable Exit Pupil Distance
Adjusting the distance between the exit pupils allows the user to customize the optics. The exit pupil distance varies from person to person. This adjustment enhances observation comfort and eliminates double images.
Built-in Video Recorder
The built-in video recorder is a wonderful option that allows for photo and video recording in online mode. Simply press the REC button, make a video, and send it to your colleagues, friends, or relatives.
Absolutely Waterproof IPX7
Rain, snow, and moisture will not pose problems for the device thanks to the IPX7 waterproofing. The IPX7 rating means that these devices can withstand extremely harsh weather conditions, including submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
High-Resolution Thermal Imaging Sensor 640x480
The high resolution of 640x480 pixels guarantees a highly detailed representation of objects. This allows small objects, such as branches, leaves, and animal body parts, to be depicted sharply and clearly against the background.
Quickly Replaceable Rechargeable Battery Packs with Long Life
The innovative quick-release mechanism allows for fast and easy battery replacement. External rechargeable Pulsar IPS5 batteries guarantee the device 9 hours of continuous operation in Wi-Fi mode.
Color Palettes
The eight-color palette facilitates observation under all kinds of conditions. The classic “White Hot” mode is universal, while “Hot Black” is often used for target detection at night. “Red monochrome” helps minimize or avoid side illumination from the open eyepiece. The “Sepia” mode is particularly suitable for observing distant objects, while the “Red Hot,” “Rainbow,” and “Ultramarine” modes highlight temperature differences in object parts. The “Violet” mode is designed for faster object detection.
Continuously Variable and Step Zoom
Step zoom is an important option when the object needs to be quickly zoomed in on. If time is not tight and the object needs to be examined more closely, the continuously variable zoom is ideal.
High Frame Rate 50 Hz
A high frame rate is particularly important when shooting moving target objects. This allows for a more accurate assessment of the target object's speed and more precise shooting.
Picture-in-Picture Mode
In picture-in-picture mode, the observer receives a second image of the central field, allowing for detailed viewing of the target object without losing the entire field of view.
Effective Temperature Stabilization of the Sensor
The cooling fins on the device's housing protect the sensor and other components from overheating and significantly reduce temperature sensitivity, especially between calibrations.
Observation Modes
Image optimization should be adapted to environmental conditions. Mountains, cities, and forests have different temperatures. Specific settings have been optimized and are offered as profiles to achieve the highest image quality. The identification preset is another option for image optimization, making identification easier even at great distances.
Calibration Mode:
A thermal imaging sensor occasionally requires a non-uniformity correction (NUC). Calibration minimizes or eliminates excess signals and improves image quality. Accolade offers three calibration modes: automatic, semi-automatic, and manual. In automatic calibration, the aperture closes, and calibration occurs automatically at specified intervals without user involvement. In semi-automatic mode, the aperture closes for calibration, and the user only needs to press a special button. In manual mode, the aperture remains open, and the user decides when to perform the calibration.
Manual Adjustment of Contrast and Brightness
Contrast and brightness can be manually adjusted as needed. All settings are saved and can be easily changed if necessary.
Integrated Wi-Fi Module
Observation devices are no longer just optics. Today, devices are designed as multifunctional devices to meet various application cases. Functioning as a hotspot, the device connects to your smartphone or tablet, and your smartphone can serve, for example, as a remote control for your Accolade.
Video Streaming in Online Mode
Connecting the device to a smartphone or tablet allows users to stream videos directly to YouTube in online mode.
Frost-Resistant AMOLED Display
The device is designed for flawless operation in all weather and temperature conditions. Even in freezing cold or sweltering heat, contrast and vibrant colors remain at a high level without losing frame rate. The high-contrast and large AMOLED display ensures high-quality imaging in all weather conditions thanks to the latest technologies.
Updatable Firmware
Thanks to the Stream Vision software, you will always be offered the latest firmware.
External Power Supply
The power supply of Accolade through external power supply devices such as power banks is done via a micro-USB socket. This allows you to operate your device even in extremely cold weather and thus prevent rapid discharge.
Power-Saving Function
If observation needs to be temporarily stopped, the user can activate the display's power-saving function. This function protects the user from being detected by residual light from the eyepiece, even between observation attempts and restarts. (The display remains off while all other systems continue to function. To activate the device, you only need to turn on the display).
The export of this device may be subject to export regulations. Therefore, please check the necessary steps before exporting to another country.
