The Blaser R8 Silence interchangeable barrels are extra short, partially only 42 cm long, and unleash their full performance in conjunction with the Blaser R8 integral silencers.

Due to the short exchangeable barrels, the Blaser R8 Silence repeaters remain very compact even when using silencers.

The Blaser R8 integral barrels are cold forged and are characterized by high precision and durability. The barrel surface is plasma nitrided, meaning it is hardened in a special process. This results in a hard outer shell while maintaining a soft steel core inside. This allows the barrel to vibrate optimally and shoot precisely. Despite the short barrel lengths, the Blaser R8 Silence exchangeable barrels shoot uncompromisingly accurately.

To protect against corrosion, the Blaser exchangeable barrels are additionally blued. The barrel steel used by Blaser is also a strong example of the company's innovative strength. The composition of the steel alloy was developed over 30 years ago in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Kempten and is considered one of the best-kept secrets of the Blaser company from Isny.

The Blaser R8 Silence barrels for integral silencers are available in a barrel profile of 17 mm in 3 different barrel lengths: 42 cm, 47 cm, 52 cm.
