The honor plates are hand-turned from solid beech wood, then sanded and lacquered. The beech wood has a uniform light color, only selected solid wood is used. The solid wood discs have a thickness of about 2.5cm and are therefore also very well suited for direct shooting. Due to the lowered image bed on the 30, 40, and 50 discs, the art print discs also appear hand-painted. Each disc has a brass-colored hanger on the back.
