With this diopter optics, without magnification, you can variably compensate for normal (spherical) vision defects  +/- 5 dpt. The target image remains unchanged in size but is focused sharply, even in combination with front sights.

Compared to shooting glasses, spherical vision defects can be fine-tuned here. Fluctuations in visual acuity, which every shooter knows, caused by daily condition, lighting conditions, blood pressure, or stress, can be immediately compensated by the shooter.

Shooters with astigmatism can combine this new diopter optics with the Gehmann cylinder system No. 579, thus achieving a one hundred percent replacement for shooting glasses. (Knappworst Article 281421)
