A must for every Hämmerli P240 cal. .32S&W long WC and .22lr.
Because there comes a time, when your P240 is now over 40 years old, that the original plastic part says goodbye. My standpoint is anyway: A weapon should not have plastic!
Replacement part (disassembly grip) for a Hämmerli P240 cal. .22lr or .32 S&W long as a reproduction made of high-strength aluminum, black anodized. The original Hämmerli replacement part number was (42120 disassembly grip). The disassembly grip has always been a weak point of the Hämmerli P240 in cal. .22lr and .32S&W long, as it was made from plastic injection molding.
Over the years, under the influence of various factors such as UV light, gun oil, mechanical stress, etc., the grip unfortunately breaks down sooner or later. Also, the constant pressure that the hollow tension pin exerts on the plastic part will destroy it sooner or later. This is no longer possible with this new production made of metal, as it is manufactured from high-strength aluminum on high-precision CNC machines.
Subsequently, they were black satin anodized. The grips are very well processed, precisely fitting, and look excellent (better than the original). Take a look at the pictures.
You are only buying a disassembly grip, as shown in the first picture; the other pictures are for illustration purposes only.
With this, you can upgrade your P240, and afterwards, you will have a pistol made entirely of metal, as it should be for a high-quality sports weapon.
You can carry out the installation yourself with some craftsmanship, as the conversion can be done without any other modifications to your weapon.
