A legend! The pistol has been manufactured over 3 million times to date. In 1911, it was introduced as the `U.S. Pistol, Caliber .45 Model of 1911` as the US service weapon. Later, the Royal Navy, the Royal Flying Corps, and the Royal Air Force were also equipped with the pistol. Even when it was replaced as the service pistol by the Model 92 in 1985, it did not diminish its popularity.

The Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec in caliber 4.5 mm BB is made of full metal and features textured plastic grips with the Springfield Armory logo. With its realistic weight, authentic controls, and strong blow-back effect, this pressure pistol comes very close to its real counterpart and is the perfect training tool for plinking or target practice.
