The excellent detection range of the Leica Calonox View is based on a high-end vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor with 640 x 512 pixels and a 12 µm pixel size, providing outstanding temperature resolution.

To capture special observations as photos or videos, the Leica Calonox View features an internal memory of 16 GB. With the help of the Calonox View app, stored images can be transferred via WLAN to a smartphone or via cable to a computer. Observations via live view are also possible with the mobile phone.

With the three integrated calibration modes Auto (A), Manual (M), and Background (B), you can restore, refresh, and improve the display of the image on the screen. In modes A and M, the shutter calibration is triggered automatically or manually at your request with the push of a button. The background calibration with the lens covered works particularly effectively and achieves the best results.
