Bottle opener in cartridge form
In search of a suitable gift for hunters, one finds all sorts of quirky things. A funny gift idea is this bottle opener, which is supposed to imitate a .50 caliber cartridge. In order to easily open the bottle cap, the handle should be as long as possible to have a large lever. Since smaller calibers are not sufficient for this, the manufacturer AKAH came up with the idea of using a cartridge in this large caliber to open bottle caps.
Details:
Replica of a real .50 caliber cartridge. 14cm long Metal
A real eye-catcher!
The cartridge 12.7 x 99 mm, or as it is also called .50 BMG, for Browning Machine Gun, is a standard cartridge of NATO, especially for heavy machine guns. The total length of the cartridge is 138.4 mm, which is about 14cm. This makes the lever long enough to easily open bottles with crown caps.
