The Glock 48 FS RMSc with rail in 9mm Luger comes standard with a red dot sight and the Glock Slim mounting rail for attaching practical accessories. This allows the pistol to be used for disciplines with mechanical sights as well as with special optical systems. The Shield RMSc reflex sight is a red dot sight specifically designed for concealed carry pistols like the Glock 48 FS, featuring a slim housing. The sleek design and modular optical system make this pistol the perfect tactical partner. The Glock 48 with rail is of similar length and height to the compact Glock 19, but features the Glock Slimline design with a reduced pistol width (only 28 mm) for perfect - concealed - carrying comfort. The pistol includes elements of the Slimline series such as the short trigger travel, a frame with beavertail, an interchangeable magazine holder, and the very precise Glock Marksman barrel (GMB) in match quality with polygon profile. The front serrations (FS) ensure quick and grippy reloading.

On the revised magazine well of the Gen. 5, there is an internal magazine funnel, where the grip has been slightly flared outward. This makes reloading significantly easier and faster. Even in adverse lighting conditions, the orange follower in the empty magazine is immediately visible. Upon request, a 15-round magazine can also be purchased for an additional fee (89.00€, currently delivery time approx. 8-12 weeks) at the same size.
