The Glock 17 Gen5 MOS FS impresses with high-quality workmanship, reliability, and precision. The slide is prepared for the installation of adapter plates for mini red dot sights, MOS (Modular Optic System). Four adapter plates are included in the delivery.

The pistol features a deep black finish (nDLC). This is exclusive and makes it significantly more resistant to corrosion and scratches compared to previous generations, ensuring reliable protection even under unfavorable conditions.

In addition, the pistol is equipped with a new grip that does not use ergonomically shaped finger grooves. This not only visually matches the surface of the weapon better but also makes handling more pleasant for the shooter due to the textured structure—no longer requiring adaptation to a specific, predefined finger width. Additionally, four different backstraps (2 sizes with and 2 sizes without extended beavertail) are included.

New features of the Glock 17 Gen5 MOS FS include the ambidextrous slide stop lever, the modified barrel (Glock Marksman Barrel) that ensures better precision, and the improved sights that allow for a larger gap between the rear and front sights. Fixed sights (FS - fixed Sights) are also included. Furthermore, the magazine well has been revised, and an orange cartridge indicator has been implemented. This allows the shooter to clearly see the empty magazine even in poor lighting conditions.

The Glock 17 Gen5 MOS FS is delivered with a plastic case, spare magazine, and MOS adapter set.

The MOS - The Modular Optic System allows the shooter to easily mount the optic of their choice with just a few adjustments directly onto the slide of the pistol. The slide has been milled in the rear section between the rear sight and ejection port. This allows one of the four included adapter plates for various optical systems to be mounted. A wide range of modern red dot sights can thus be elegantly and easily integrated into the slide. The conversion is simple and quick.

G17 Gen5 MOS - Simplified mounting of optical sights
With the G17 Gen5, MOS GLOCK expands the already nearly perfect Gen5 model of "The original" with the Modular Optic System (MOS). The slide is precisely machined to provide a mounting system for common optical sights. With several adapter plates, you can quickly and easily attach mini red dot sights to the rear of the Gen5 GLOCK object carrier, which features front serrations for easier and faster manipulations.

Differences from previous generations:

It is noticeable that the finger grooves are missing on the grip of the GEN5. These have disappeared with the new ergonomic design of the Gen5. This provides better handling for the shooter, as not everyone has the same hand size and thus the finger width that was previously dictated by the grooves.

The revised GEN5 magazine well features an internal magazine funnel (FLARED MAG-WELL), where the grip has been slightly flared and notched outward.

Another feature is a smoother trigger pull and the ambidextrous slide stop lever.

Particularly, the barrel of the GEN5 models has been revised to achieve an even higher precision potential than that of previous GLOCK barrels. The new GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) was developed as part of the US Army's solicitation and features a new, modified polygonal barrel profile.

Additionally, the Gen5 versions have been given a new, much more durable surface coating. The deep black nDLC finish is significantly more resistant to corrosion and scratches.

The new models also feature lateral grip serrations at the front of the slide, known as front serrations. This allows for practical and quick loading or checking of the readiness status from the front.
