For video and photo recordings during observation, the Helion thermal imaging devices are equipped with a video recorder. The files are stored in the internal memory and can be transferred to your PC or smartphone via cable or Wi-Fi.
The effective range for observing a human-sized figure (1.80 m) under field conditions (a person in the field with the forest in the background) is up to 1800 meters, depending on the model.
The Helion thermal imaging devices feature an autonomous B-Pack power supply. It consists of a quickly replaceable IPS5 power supply unit and a 5.2 Ah battery pack, which guarantees 8 hours of operation in the most active mode.
Helion has an integrated stadimetric rangefinder, which is represented as a scale and accurately measures the distance to the observation object of a specific size (deer - 1.7 m; wild boar - 0.7 m; hare - 0.3 m) and displays it on the screen.
In addition to the popular “white hot” and “black hot” imaging, Helion offers 8 color palettes for true color representation of the temperature map. The transition from one color palette to the standard “white hot” is also quick and easy.
Helion thermal imaging devices have a Micro-USB interface that allows for powering from external power supply units, such as power banks. The power bank powers the device even in extremely cold weather and protects it from rapid discharge.
The heat sink panel on the device's housing protects the sensor and other components from overheating, and the sound sensitivity (especially between calibrations) is significantly reduced by this panel.
