The new ultra-bright and indestructible night & hunting binoculars Pirschler 12x56 Abbe-Koenig / Magnesium
is the long-awaited first edition of our Pirschler with 12x magnification. In addition to excellent optical properties, this binocular is particularly designed for durability. State-of-the-art materials and manufacturing processes from aerospace make this 12x56 binocular a true lightweight.

Stability and robustness of the 12x binocular
On the new “Pirschler” binocular, there is (excluding the tripod protection cap and armoring) not a gram of plastic, neither on the body itself nor on wear parts. The body and bridge are made of an ultra-hard, yet extremely lightweight magnesium alloy from aerospace, making the binocular virtually unbreakable. Additional advantage: The magnesium reduces the overall weight. The diopter (adjustment range +/-4) is now located on the right eyepiece for better functionality, rather than on the focusing wheel. All these control elements – diopter, eyepiece, focusing wheel – are made of duralumin, ensuring long-term durability. This makes one-handed gripping and holding of this compact binocular comfortable and secure, even with gloves.

Brilliant binocular optics in a completely separately manufactured body
There are two ways to expand a binocular series. On one hand, the manufacturer can simply continue to use the binocular body of the original glass and only swap the optical components, or the manufacturer can invest effort and completely recalculate the optics to achieve an optimum for a binocular with 12x magnification. For the Pirschler, we chose the more elaborate route and manufactured a completely new body that is 4 cm longer than, for example, the binocular body of the Pirschler 8x56. Only in this way can an optimal result for a 12x binocular be achieved.

Specialist at night
Even though the optics already impress during the day, the Pirschler is made for twilight. As twilight deepens, when other products significantly lose brightness and brilliance, the Pirschler begins to showcase its strengths. One almost gets the impression that resolution and contrast improve even further as twilight increases. Even the Pirschler with 12x magnification performs extremely well late at night. Thus, reliable observation can still be achieved well into the darkness.
