The shooting strap can also be adjusted to very small arm lengths due to the long rows of holes, ensuring that the pin buckle does not press against the glove when in position. An freely pivoting metal tab on the ahg shooting strap, into which the hook (Art. 336) of the ahg shooting jacket engages, allows for an optimal connection of the shooting strap with the shooting jacket. This prevents any slipping of the strap. Considering the independent adjustment of the freely pivoting tab, the force direction of the strap pull from the upper arm is avoided, and additionally, increased stability is achieved during prone and kneeling shooting. The use of a non-stretchable, yet flexible special strap material with fabric insert (Art. 331, 332, 335, 337, and 341) guarantees no length change of the strap due to the pulling forces occurring during shooting and ensures a consistently stable position.
