Compatible with the standard NATO muzzle flash suppressor, the Rotex-V Compact is designed for calibers .223 / 5.56 mm. It is the optimal solution when a silencer that can be attached/detached in a matter of seconds is needed, while also providing excellent sound suppression and being as short as possible. Additionally, the Rotex-V effectively suppresses muzzle flash.

For official use, silencers must withstand enormous stresses. Experience from this area also flows into the development of hunting silencers. Not only are very good suppression values achieved, but also compact dimensions and low weight. Special attention has been paid to a cost-effective, integrated thread adapter, allowing the silencers to be used on multiple firearms with different muzzle threads.

B&T silencers are made from highly temperature-resistant Thermax and Inconel. Inconel alloys are well resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for use in extreme environments. When heated, a stable oxide layer forms that protects the surface. The strength remains intact over a wide temperature range. This makes the alloys particularly interesting for high-temperature applications where aluminum and steel are unstable.

Notes on silencers: Existing hunting law prohibitions or restrictions on the use of silencers in the respective federal states must be observed. Ballistically, the use of silencers with normal common hunting ammunition has no effect – the impact of the projectile remains the same. The perception of the surroundings is also not affected. Silencers reduce recoil as well as noise at the source. This protects the environment (e.g., hunting dogs) from noise damage. They nearly eliminate muzzle flash, making it easier to perceive the drawing and escape direction of game in low light. The silencer should always be removed before pulling through the weapon to avoid damage to the baffles. For cleaning and preserving silencers, penetrating oils are recommended. High-temperature resistant greases are effective for maintaining the threads.
