Quote: "The Tingle .44 is a short, single-shot muzzleloader. Legally speaking, that might cover everything necessary, because if a firearms ownership card for sports shooters ("yellow WBK") can even include a percussion revolver with up to 9+1 shots (LeMat percussion revolver), then surely a single-shot pistol should be included as well. However, it is not that simple. The acquisition via yellow WBK is not possible, as the enumeration in § 14 Abs. 4 WaffG for the firearms ownership card for sports shooters lists many types,

Single-shot long guns with smooth and rifled barrels,
Repeating long guns with rifled barrels,
Single-shot handguns for cartridge ammunition, and
Multi-shot short and long guns with percussion ignition (percussion weapons)

but does not include single-shot handguns with percussion ignition. This is also logical, as single-shot percussion pistols are usually freely purchasable from age 18 - but not the Tingle, which is considered a modern weapon due to its year of development after 1871. This means for acquisition: green WBK with prior entry (or red WBK if covered by the collection area)."
