The Astra .357 revolver is manufactured in Spain by Astra Unceta. The Astra Company has a long history of producing automatic pistols. It has served the Spanish army since World War I, but only entered the revolver field in the late 1950s with a relatively inexpensive line under the name "Cadix". About ten years later, they produced this Astra .357 Magnum model after some practical experience, an excellent revolver that is comparable to any.
