Other: Right of withdrawal
The buyer can, provided he is a consumer (§ 13 BGB), revoke his declaration of contract within 14 days without giving reasons in text form (e.g., letter, fax, email) or – if the item is handed over to him before the deadline – also by returning the item. The period begins after receipt of this instruction in text form, but not before receipt of the goods by the recipient (in the case of recurring delivery of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery) and also not before fulfillment of the seller's information obligations according to Article 246 § 2 EGBGB in conjunction with § 1 Abs. 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as his obligations according to § 312g Abs. 1 Satz 1 BGB in conjunction with Article 246 § 3 EGBGB. To maintain the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal or the item in good time.

Consequences of withdrawal
In the event of a valid withdrawal, the services received on both sides must be returned and surrendered. If the buyer cannot return the received service to the seller or can only return it in a deteriorated condition, he must compensate the seller for the value to that extent. For the deterioration of the item and for benefits derived (e.g., usage advantages), the buyer must only provide compensation to the extent that the benefits or the deterioration are attributable to handling the item that goes beyond testing the properties and functionality. "Testing the properties and functionality" means testing and trying out the respective goods as is possible and customary in a retail store. Items that can be shipped in packages are to be returned at the seller's expense and risk. Non-packageable items will be picked up from the buyer. Obligations to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for the buyer with the dispatch of his withdrawal declaration or the item, for the seller with its receipt.
