Product description:

The maximum 20x magnification and bright 50 mm objective diameter in an extremely compact design characterize this riflescope. An ideal all-round riflescope for all hunting situations. The high magnification allows for safe identification and provides confidence for long shots.
Reticle in the 1st image plane - Zero tolerance

For the highest possible shooting precision under all conditions, technical solutions are required where precision-reducing factors have already been constructively excluded. This applies to both the weapon and the riflescope mounting as well as to the target optics themselves. For this reason, for example, the mounts for the Blaser saddle mount are located directly on the barrel, creating a consistently precise unit of target optics and barrel.
The design of Blaser riflescopes is a consistent continuation of this philosophy. Only with riflescopes that have a reticle in the first image plane can the point of impact remain unchanged when changing magnification due to the design. The reticle is combined with the target image before the movable parts of the zoom system come into play. According to our claim "Zero tolerance".

In modern riflescopes, the reticle is usually located in the second image plane, near the eyepiece. However, their disadvantage is that mechanical tolerances during magnification changes can cause point of impact deviations.
To always meet the highest precision requirements, Blaser riflescopes have been deliberately equipped with reticle positioning in the first image plane - the objective image plane. Only with this design do mechanical tolerances during magnification changes have no influence on the point of impact.
Precision in detail - The reticle revolution

Reticle position in the first image plane, fine reticle with low target coverage even at high magnification and daytime illuminated dot, which can be adjusted for the most extreme lighting conditions:
From winter hunting during the day to hunting boars at night. Swiss technology has made this possible.

Strong, obstructive reticle bars in the high magnification range have so far represented the disadvantage of reticle positioning in the first image plane. Thanks to innovative Swiss phase grating technology, it has been possible to realize a low coverage of the reticle even at high magnifications in Blaser riflescopes. In combination with the adjustable illuminated dot for various visibility conditions, this results in a combination that promotes precise hitting under all hunting conditions.
iC Illumination Control - Focus on the essentials

If the Blaser R8 repeating rifle is equipped with an iC cocking slider, the illuminated dot of all Blaser riflescope models is automatically activated when the cocking slider is pushed forward into the ready-to-fire position (older Blaser R8 models can be easily retrofitted with an iC cocking slider).

A sensor in the riflescope detects the position of the cocking slider and automatically ensures the switching on and off of the illuminated dot. To prepare for the shot, only a single action is required: disengaging (cocking the lock) of the weapon. The intensity of the illuminated dot always corresponds to the last set strength. Its adjustment is conveniently made using the adjustment wheel located on the right side of the riflescope.
Thanks to this perfect interplay of rifle and riflescope, one gains time and thus the necessary calm for a safe shot. When using Blaser riflescopes on rifles without an iC cocking slider, the illuminated dot is activated manually by pulling out the adjustment wheel on the right side.
To achieve the longest possible battery life, the illuminated dot automatically turns off as soon as the weapon is placed in a very steep to vertical or lying position. When the weapon is taken back into position, the illuminated dot activates automatically.
QDC - Quick Distance Control - hitting far

Very long shots while hunting are more the exception than the rule. Nevertheless, there are situations where a shot at very long distances may be necessary. It is good to be technically equipped to always stay on target and not have to aim higher. The reticle adjustment of Blaser riflescopes has been specifically developed for this purpose. Its highly precise and simultaneously robust mechanics ensure permanently reliable repeat accuracy.

The Blaser riflescope 2.8-20x50 iC is standard equipped with QDC Quick Distance Control. Before the shot at long distances, the corresponding height correction of the reticle adjustment can be quickly and easily made even in position.
Unique is the possibility to lock the two settings dot shot and 4 cm high shot - sensibly at a weapon zeroed at 100 m. Unintentional adjustment is thus not possible. Nevertheless, with just one action, the desired point of impact can be set. If, due to long shooting distance, 4 cm high shot at 100 meters is not sufficient, the reticle height adjustment is turned further by the necessary "click number". In this case, the setting is not locked by lowering the adjustment turret, so that its scale remains clearly visible with the chosen setting. This way, the risk of forgetting to reset to normal position after the shot is almost excluded.

The side adjustment ring for parallax compensation is also secured against unintentional adjustment. For the distance range of about 100 m, the ring is locked and cannot be adjusted unnoticed. Before the shot at greater distances, it is pulled outward and then set to the desired distance range.
Function and design - Rifle and riflescope - the perfect unit

Blaser riflescopes have been designed by hunters from practical hunting experience. Thanks to the thoughtful arrangement and intuitive operation of all functional elements, the hunter's concentration remains solely on the safe shot. Their unmistakable design gives the rifle and riflescope a perfectly finished overall appearance.

Thoughtful function - The very flat adjustment turret for the reticle side adjustment has been deliberately positioned on the left side of the riflescope body. The higher adjustment turret with adjustment wheels for parallax compensation and illuminated dot intensity is located on the right side of the riflescope for convenient accessibility.
For right-handed shooters (over 85% of all hunters), this means significantly better visibility past the left side of the riflescope. Especially when shooting at moving game, where it is generally advisable to keep both eyes open, this is a great advantage in terms of optimal visibility of the entire shooting field.

Unique design - The flowing silhouette of Blaser riflescopes allows the rifle and target optics to merge into a perfect unit. All control elements are equipped with a grippy rubber coating in a characteristic fish skin texture, whose coloring harmonizes particularly well with hunting rifles.

Made for rough use - The robust housings of Blaser riflescopes are coated with durable hard anodizing and are thus insensitive to external influences. For greater stability in case of falls or drops and for intuitive operation, the adjustment wheel for the illuminated dot intensity has been deliberately not placed at the top in the eyepiece area, but in a compact unit with the adjustment wheel for parallax compensation on the right side. Both control elements are made of sturdy metal and are equipped with vulcanized rubber coating in a grippy fish skin design.
