The Bock double-barrel shotgun Forest Favorit 'Jagd' features a stable wedge locking mechanism and is exclusively offered in the popular caliber 12/76. The caliber 12/76 with steel shot allows for strong shot loads if needed, which can be advantageous especially during goose hunting. Of course, all 70mm cartridges can also be fired in this caliber. Bock double-barrel shotguns are universally applicable in both hunting and sporting shooting and are generally easier to handle than over-and-under shotguns. With the Bock double-barrel shotgun Forest Favorit, high shooting cadences are possible without compromising accuracy and without disadvantages for the shooter, as the forend encloses the lower barrel. The hand does not directly touch the hot metal as it does with an over-and-under shotgun. Furthermore, with Bock shotguns, the more linear recoil allows for the second shot to be fired a bit faster.
