The PPQ M2 is equipped with a striker safety and a pre-tensioned, smooth trigger that releases at 25 N. All other features of the PPQ and thus the technical specifications remain unchanged. The relocation of the button is likely to meet the wishes of many shooters, both among IPSC shooters and in the police. For certain markets, the basic version referred to as "Classic" will still be produced in a limited manner with a trigger blade. The polymer grip comes with three interchangeable, differently thick backstraps, allowing the grip circumference and hand position to be adjusted to any hand size. With the HI-GRI surface on the contact areas of the hand, the pistol sits securely and non-slip in the aim.
