The Aimpoint CompM4 series is the best series ever produced by Aimpoint. The improvements concern energy efficiency, which provides a battery life of up to 8 years of continuous use with just one AA battery! The CompM4 sights are equipped with a mounting option that makes the use of a mounting ring unnecessary and offers various mounting options. To meet the needs of users, there are 2 variants of the CompM4: the CompM4h with the battery compartment on top (2 o'clock) and the CompM4s with the battery compartment on the bottom (5 o'clock). All other specifications are the same. The CompM4 is now the latest version of the M68 CCO (Close Combat Optic) of the US Army - the continuation of a collaboration since 1997. The performance of the CompM4 sights has been optimized for use with night vision devices (NVD) of all generations, specifically for use with 3rd generation devices. With 7 NVD-compatible switch settings and 9 daylight settings (1 of which is extra bright), the M4 sights can be used around the clock.
