Leupold's latest illuminated reticle technology for day and night F I R E D O T The end of the fiber optic cable in the FireDot reticle of the VX-R is shaped and polished to provide a very bright aiming point for field use – a true daylight illuminated reticle. The aiming point is also easily visible in the brightest ambient light but can be dimmed for use in dark environments. This means the hunter gets a better target image under all hunting conditions. Leupold is the only manufacturer with fiber optic optics that utilizes Motion Sensor Technology (MST).
