The Typ5 is already available in the significantly improved third generation (V3). Compared to the predecessor model, the chambers have been slightly lengthened, thereby increasing the performance yield. In general, the Typ5V3 offers a multi-chamber design while maintaining a short clamping length. This is particularly practical when, due to design constraints, there is only a small amount of barrel available for clamping. The three-chamber design has proven to be very efficient, and the large openings allow for particularly easy cleaning.
 
The brake can be delivered optionally in stainless steel look (brushed or matte finish) or with a matte black PVD coating.
 
The latest V3 version now offers an even more durable finish in the black version. All our PGW muzzle brakes will now be delivered with high-tech PVD coating. PVD provides an extremely high surface hardness combined with optimal resistance to thermal and corrosive influences.
