Cugir PSL 7.62x54R – classic marksman rifle – copy of the SVD Dragunov

The Cugir PSL in 7.62x54R is a semi-automatic marksman rifle that has been popular for years with shooters looking for a combination of reliability, effective range and classic military character. Designed to support marksmen, it remains one of the best-known DMR platforms chambered in 7.62x54R.

The PSL is based on proven Kalashnikov design principles and uses a long-stroke gas piston system. This ensures reliable operation, even with intensive use and in demanding field conditions.

The rifle has a 24.4-inch (620 mm) barrel that makes full use of the 7.62x54R cartridge. This makes the PSL well suited to medium- and long-range shooting, with excellent ballistic performance and high effectiveness.

A distinctive feature is the wooden stock with a thumbhole, which provides a comfortable grip and a stable shooting position. Its classic look, inspired by military marksman rifles, appeals to collectors and long-range shooting enthusiasts alike.

The rifle is designed for use with dedicated optics mounted on a side rail, making it easy to equip with optical sights for precision shooting.
