#7808 Mauser K98k carbine, cal. 8x57JS, postwar production by the Yugoslav company Preduzece 44 (Kragujevac).
Like most carbines of this type, it was made using German-made parts (produced before May 1945).
In this case, the German parts include the laminated stock (sanded and varnished), receiver, bolt, rear sight, rear barrel band, etc.
The barrel is Yugoslav-made. The stock is marked “1.TRZ,” short for “1.Tehnički Remontni Zavod,” the arsenal where this carbine was refurbished.
Comes with the original, correct Yugoslav sling.
Inspected and test-fired by a gunsmith.
Bore: bright and clean, with sharp, complete rifling and minor signs of use.
