The Benelli M2 Speed Short Mag in 12/76 is a semi-automatic shotgun from the M2 Speed family, designed for dynamic shooting. Unlike the standard M2 Speed with its long magazine tube, this version has a short tubular magazine without an extension, making it ideal where a compact profile and less weight ahead of the grip matter. The barrel is 660 mm (26") long. It uses the patented Inertia Driven® system, which harnesses recoil energy without diverting gas, reducing fouling and making maintenance easier.
The shotgun comes with a set of 5 interchangeable chokes: IM, M, IC, plus two extended chokes, KND Ampliator and KND Long Shot, so you can match the shot spread to the distance of the targets. A distinctive feature of the Speed family is its receiver, made from Ergal and anodized in racing grey with red accents. The bolt has a BE.S.T. coating for increased corrosion resistance, while the enlarged loading port speeds up reloading during a stage. The short tube also makes the shotgun easier to carry and store in a standard case.
The stock and forend are made of black technopolymer with an AirTouch non-slip pattern. The ComforTech 3 recoil reduction system, combined with the CombTech comb, reduces muzzle rise and felt impact on the cheek, helping you get back on target faster during rapid strings of fire. Length of pull is 365 mm. It’s a great choice for sport shooters who want the proven M2 Speed action in a shorter, handier configuration. This C3-category shotgun is available only in a physical store upon presentation of the required permit.
