The Mossberg Patriot Predator bolt-action rifle was developed in 2018. It is a modified version of the Patriot rifle, which is derived from the popular ATR. The new bolt-action rifle features a detachable magazine and a spiral-fluted, four-position bolt. The long Picatinny rail mounted on top of the receiver makes it easy to install both a scope and a night vision attachment—you only need to buy the rings. The fluted barrel, without iron sights, helps dissipate heat and reduces the rifle’s weight. The adjustable LBA trigger lets you set the trigger pull to suit each shooter’s individual preferences.
The rifle has a threaded muzzle, allowing you to attach a flash suppressor or muzzle brake. The synthetic stock is finished in earth tones (FDE), providing better camouflage.
The .308 Win. cartridge is versatile and suitable for hunting all big game in Europe. It has moderate recoil, and a wide range of loads is readily available.
