SEMPRIO STRAIGHT-PULL RIFLE

For more than a century, Krieghoff has been known for blending tradition with innovation. The Krieghoff Semprio challenges conventional thinking and takes the hunting rifle into a new era.

The first of its kind, the Semprio straight-pull rifle uses ergonomics and the kinetic energy produced by recoil to optimize the hunting experience. This latest addition to the Krieghoff hunting rifle lineup combines our signature features for target acquisition, safety and combinations with revolutionary ideas.

Total focus on the target ... lightning-fast cycling ... ultimate safety ... Krieghoff craftsmanship: the Semprio begins ...

Krieghoff Semprio straight-pull action

Krieghoff’s precision engineering took an innovative look at recoil and realized its forces could be incorporated into a revolutionary new hunting rifle design. The Semprio’s straight-pull action is initiated by recoil. Instead of the conventional “pump action” of pulling the firearm toward you and then pushing it away, the Semprio action unlocks and intuitively guides your hand forward with friction-free sliders as the spent cartridge is ejected. The forward movement harnesses the energy initiated by recoil, keeping the rifle firmly against your shoulder. The final action in the firing sequence, closing the rifle, loads a new round into the chamber while keeping the rifle in position and immediately ready for the next shot. Keeping the rifle and your hand in a stable position improves your ability to shoot accurately and quickly.

Take-down feature:

The Semprio offers the convenience of easy take-down for storage and travel. Its compact size allows for discreet transport. The take-down feature also allows for quick caliber changes.

Combi-Cocking device:

The Combi-Cocking device is a state-of-the-art multifunctional device that controls all functions of the action except the actual trigger pull. In the rear position, accidental discharge is prevented. The firing mechanism is completely disengaged and the firing pin is retracted. A two-o’clock turn to the right unlocks the rifle for opening, making take-down or loading easier. A slight push forward on the cocking device in the vertical 12 o’clock position prepares the rifle to fire. The rifle
remains cocked and ready to fire until manually returned to the decocked position. This integral feature adds intuitive, easy operation.

Safe Carry Position:

When hunting on a stalk, you can show everyone at a glance that your rifle is completely safe by unloading it and carrying it in the “Safe Carry Position.” The Safe Carry Position locks the Semprio’s action partially open, clearly showing that the rifle is unloaded and cannot fire.

Universal Trigger System (UAS):

The Semprio offers the optimal trigger for every hunting situation: a crisp trigger set to approximately 1250 grams (2.75 pounds) for a quick, intuitive shot.

Durable gray nickel finish or tough matte black anodized finish.

Both finish options are designed to withstand conditions in any hunting field and are available in the standard version.

The Semprio magazine is designed to hold up to four cartridges in standard caliber and up to three cartridges in magnum caliber. Its precision design allows for quick insertion and removal. Additional magazines are available separately.

Open Sights:

Designed for quick target acquisition on moving targets, the Semprio’s open sights include a fluorescent front sight and a rear sight. Both are fully adjustable to change the point of impact.

Plasma-Nitrided Barrels:

Semprio barrels are specially coated to prevent corrosion in the variable weather conditions hunters face.

Stock with Special Semprio Cheekpiece:

T-Wood (walnut with an enhanced optical finish) or an alternative camouflage finish in “Blaze Orange” or “Forest Green.”

Click and Go Sling Swivels:

Another user-friendly feature of the Semprio. Click-and-Go swivels let you attach and detach slings at the push of a button.
