SPIRITUS SYSTEMS EXPANDER WING MK 2 – WOLF GREY

The Expander Wing Mk 2 was designed as a direct replacement for the original Spiritus Systems Expander Wing assembly, with a focus on improving functionality for plate carriers. The wing attaches to a Micro Fight chassis or a Placard 556 with a Velcro flap and can be mounted to increase storage capacity on a chest rig or beneath the cummerbund of an LV/119. Unlike its predecessor, the Expander Wing Mk 2 is fully reversible and can be used on either the right or left side of the torso without any reduction in functionality or storage capacity. Spiritus Systems sells the Expander Wing Mk 2 individually for end users who don’t need a complete set for their gear. (Reminder: If you want a set, be sure to add TWO to your cart.) Wings used with chest rigs attach to the soft Velcro field on the back of the Micro Fight Chest Rig. They also use Spiritus Systems’ unique loop-over-loop design, which attaches to your Fat or Skinny straps to ensure a snug, stable fit that won’t sag, even with heavy items inside. When used with plate carriers, the Expander Wing Mk 2 integrates with both Velcro cummerbunds and TUBES. The wing has a pass-through for the TUBES bar, so the cummerbund can be attached or detached without removing the expander wing. The Expander Wing Mk 2 is designed to fit close to the body, reducing its profile and keeping items securely in place. The base pocket of the Expander Wing Mk 2 is 6 inches deep; however, the adjustable internal retention strap can be lengthened or shortened to create the perfect pocket depth for your items. The top of the pocket also features a double eyelet and a bungee retention kit, so radios and magazines stay secure during movement. The expander wing will hold most small- and medium-caliber rifle magazines, as well as a variety of radio platforms such as the MPU5, 152, 163, and smaller units like the Motorola XTS 5000.

The Expander Wing Mk 2 is reversible and can be used on either side of the torso without losing functionality or storage capacity.
