Mauser 98 Magnum Diplomat

Staying true to this tradition, the new Model 98 Magnum Diplomat shows that no challenge is too great for this rifle.

Based on a square-bridge action milled from a solid block of steel, this big-game classic is built to the same demanding specifications as the standard MAUSER 98.

Two massive recoil lugs and a slightly longer action are incorporated to handle the three calibers on offer: .375 H&H Magnum, .416 Rigby or .450 Rigby.

A big-game hunter can be sure that with the Model 98 Magnum in hand, they’ll have the uncompromising firepower of five (.375) or four cartridges (.416 or .450) in the magazine to handle jobs a double rifle can’t.

Africa’s legendary big-game hunters knew what to rely on: the mighty Double O, with its greater capacity and the indestructible, reliable MAUSER Magnum action.

Thanks to the legendary long extractor, controlled-round feed and fantastic bolt cycle, this powerhouse delivers speed and absolute reliability when your life may truly depend on it. A MAUSER 98 Magnum hunter will not only enjoy the final pull of the trigger with this uncompromising classic, but the journey to get there will also become part of the story. Who wouldn’t want to take one of these tough brutes into the African bush?
