Redding Reloading Equipment created this new die set based on customer feedback. In recent years, we’ve seen the introduction of many new sets, such as the National Match, Master Hunter, and Premium sets, in response to changing trends in the category and requests from users.

The Type S Elite set is a direct result of this feedback and is available for 85 different cartridges. This set consists of a Type S Bushing Full Die, a Type S Bushing Neck Die, and the incomparable Redding Competition Seating Die.

All Type-S dies use an interchangeable bushing to control neck diameter and tension with 0.001” precision. The bushings are available in hardened steel, as well as with a TIN (Titanium Nitride) coating for even greater lubricity.

This gives reloaders complete control and precision when setting the correct neck tension, without worrying about damaging the brass at the cartridge neck. In addition, these bushings float freely, allowing them to self-center on the cartridge neck for greater sizing precision.

These features not only provide greater control, but also significantly improve the consistency and precision of the finished loaded cartridges.
