Prometheus Inner Barrel Prometheus EG 6.03 AK74U 260 mm

This Prometheus EG AK74U inner barrel is designed to replace the original inner barrel. It offers significantly greater accuracy thanks to optimal air sealing and, above all, because a high-quality inner barrel greatly improves the hop-up effect. Of course, to get the most out of the inner barrel, we recommend using only high-quality BBs.

Because the Prometheus EG AK74U inner barrel is made of stainless steel, it is highly rigid and difficult to bend, making it less susceptible to rough handling. Stainless steel also has lower thermal expansion than brass and aluminum, the materials used for most inner barrels. When the barrel heats up (after firing many rounds), there is less negative impact on accuracy.

Precision engineering is another important factor behind this inner barrel’s high accuracy and excellent overall performance. The inner diameter is 6.03 mm, with a tolerance of just +/- 0.01 mm. The outer diameter is 8.5 mm, and the finish is, of course, top-notch. To prevent instability at the end of the inner barrel due to a sudden drop in pressure, the end is slightly flared to ensure a smooth, even pressure drop.
