In the reloading process, the most critical components are the press and dies. RCBS makes the best dies in the world. The basic function of dies is to resize the case and seat the bullet.

The RCBS MatchMaster neck die set consists of a neck-sizing decapping die with a bushing system and a bullet seating die with a window and micrometer, both Match grade. Each RCBS MatchMaster die is made from hardened steel, reamed with high-precision tools, and hand-polished.

The RCBS MatchMaster neck-sizing die uses interchangeable bushings, sold separately. Interchangeable bushings have been used in Bench Rest and by long-range shooters for years, as they let you use different self-centering bushings in different diameters to adjust the neck tension between the case and the bullet. Using bushing dies also lets the case work with minimal movement, significantly extending case life. This sizing die features a titanium carbonitride-coated expander, reducing the force required to resize cases.

The RCBS MatchMaster seating die has an exceptional finish, machined, polished, and blued. The seating die features a large, oversized adjustment knob with large, easy-to-read markings that turn smoothly to the desired setting. Adjustments can be made in precise .001″ increments. It has a loading window where you can place the bullet, then simply operate the press to seat it in the case. Thanks to this window system, there’s no need to try to align the bullet by hand or risk your fingers with every operation. The die’s inner component catches the bullet and holds it perfectly aligned with the case, guiding it during seating for maximum concentricity.
