Singing Rock Penta 2 Climbing Helmet (Blue, XL)

The 2nd generation of Singing Rock’s iconic climbing helmet, the Penta, features some notable improvements: in addition to offering better ventilation (30% more ventilated surface area), it’s available in 3 sizes—S, M/L, and XL—so it fits a wider range of users. The Penta 2 is a lightweight, fully ventilated, and very comfortable safety helmet. This makes it an excellent helmet for climbing, via ferratas, and mountaineering. It’s available in 4 colors.

The Singing Rock Penta 2 climbing helmet has a tough PC shell that protects the user from sharp objects. The inside is made of PS foam, which absorbs impact force and reduces potential injury to the climber. The shell has slots for attaching a headlamp, recessed to prevent snagging on the user’s clothing or other gear.

The inside of this ultralight helmet for mountaineering, climbing, and via ferratas has a removable one-piece padding that makes washing easy and prevents small, loose parts from getting lost. Its adjustment system uses straps that don’t pinch and provide great comfort. Finally, the chin straps are soft and wide for a comfortable fit. They’re long enough to let the user wear a hat or scarf under the helmet.

The Singing Rock Penta 2 climbing helmet is also available for younger climbers: the Singing Rock Penta Junior climbing helmet.
