HIGH-PERFORMANCE HORNADY BULLETS
From the InterLock SP-RP to the extremely powerful DGS and DGX projectiles, every Dangerous Game cartridge is loaded with the right bullet for reliable performance.
PROPELLANT POWDER
Propellants are carefully selected for each load to achieve optimal pressure and velocity, as well as to regulate double rifles. Some of our Dangerous Game™ loads use Superformance powder technology.
CASES AND PRIMERS
As with all Hornady ammunition, Dangerous Game ammunition uses only high-quality cases and primers for reliable function and performance in the field.
INTERLOCK SP-RP BULLETS
SP-RP stands for “Spire Point-Recoil Proof,” and the design of these bullets prevents the problem of deformed bullet tips in the magazine caused by recoil. The strong InterLock bullet construction combines a sturdy build with a flatter trajectory in big-game rifles.
DGS BULLETS
The non-expanding DGS full metal jacket bullet is recommended for heavy, thick-skinned game such as elephants or hippos. The strong, copper-plated steel jacket ensures maximum penetration from any angle, even with heavy bone impacts, on thick-skinned dangerous game.
DGX BULLETS
The DGX is an expanding soft-point bullet based on our DGS full metal jacket bullet. Its optimized nose profile delivers straight-line penetration, maximum energy transfer, and impressive penetration depth.
