The model was designed by John Moses Browning and manufactured from 1910 at Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre in Herstal, Belgium. The compact pistol was used on the civilian market as well as by various European police and military authorities.
One distinctive feature of the FN 1910 is the recoil spring arranged around the fixed barrel. The pistol has a blowback action, a manual safety, a grip safety, and a magazine safety.
Unlike the extended FN 1910/22, the original Model 1910 has a shorter grip frame and slide, without the additional muzzle extension of the later version.
The firearm is in condition 2 and shows normal signs of wear due to age and use. These may include light scratches on the bluing and wear on the grips.
The condition description is a general assessment. Not all signs of wear typically associated with this condition rating need to be present on the firearm offered.
