The pistol was manufactured by Pietro Beretta in Gardone Val Trompia. The bolt marking "Gardone V.T. 1941 XX" indicates production during the Second World War. The Roman numeral XX refers to the then fascist calendar in Italy.
The Model 1935 was developed as a variant of the Beretta 1934 and differs from it mainly by the smaller caliber 7.65 mm Browning. The pistol features a characteristic open-top bolt, a fixed barrel with blowback action, and an external hammer with single-action trigger.
The Beretta 1935 was used during the Second World War by Italian military and police units, among others.
The firearm is in condition 3–4 and shows heavy age- and use-related wear. This may include noticeable scratches, stronger wear of the bluing, and wear on the grip panels.
The condition description is a general assessment. Not every typical wear mark assigned to this condition rating must be present on the offered firearm.
