KAYLAND DUKE MID W'S GTX BLACK AZURE - GORETEX VIBRAM WOMEN'S TREKKING BOOT

What does today’s mountain enthusiast expect from their hiking boot? Above all, versatility. Duke Mid GTX is the answer to this need and introduces Kayland’s new Hiking Advanced category.

SOLE: Kayland’s mountaineering DNA is also evident in Duke Mid GTX. The sole unit features a considerably thicker EVA midsole and is specifically designed to provide maximum comfort and absorb every unevenness in the terrain. The foot rests directly on the dual-density EVA midsole, which has a soft contact zone and a high-density ESS zone just above the outsole, designed to absorb every impact optimally and visible through the windows in the Vibram® Duke sole. The outsole features Traction Lug technology, a tread pattern designed for mixed terrain, rocks, gravel and grass to provide greater grip. A climbing zone at the toe is ideal for more challenging sections or equipped trails, while the rubber toe cap and extended sole protect the foot and help absorb impacts.

UPPER AND LINING: The Duke Mid GTX upper is made of fabric with seamless PU overlays and features a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane with direct lamination. Its special construction keeps weight to a minimum. The mesh collar is protected by laminated polyurethane and features a rear spoiler that moves with the ankle. Impact protection is provided by Kayland’s Overlasting construction, which combines a polyurethane rand that fully protects the toe with an extended sole reaching the boot’s toe for added impact protection. The lacing is precise and comfortable, with webbing and two locking hooks to keep the laces in place while walking.

FIT: The new construction of Duke Mid GTX provides unparalleled comfort, designed to accommodate, wrap around and anatomically protect the foot, delivering an immediately comfortable and natural feel.
