Delta Armory GP R15 FREYA Skeleton 13" M-LOK DIAMOND EXTREME – GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® & 35K Brushless Motor

With the GP R15 FREYA Skeleton 13" M-LOK DIAMOND EXTREME in black, Delta Armory presents a particularly high-quality airsoft platform from the officially licensed Grandpower series. The DIAMOND EXTREME combines the characteristic FREYA skeleton design with modern electronics, a powerful brushless motor, and selectively upgraded gearbox components. This version is aimed at demanding airsoft players who not only value an exceptional look but above all expect fast response, high-quality materials, and a reliable technical foundation. Delta Armory has replaced numerous components of the proven FREYA platform with more powerful parts. At the core are the GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® ETU, a modern 35K brushless motor, CNC-machined steel gears with a 16:1 ratio, and the high-quality Berserker hop-up system with a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel. The result is a technically sophisticated S-AEG where electronic control, drive, and precision system are perfectly coordinated.

Officially licensed Grandpower FREYA R15 with distinctive skeleton design

The R15 FREYA is based on the officially licensed design of the Slovak firearms manufacturer Grandpower. Particularly striking is the unique skeleton housing with its characteristic contours, distinctive milling, and authentic Grandpower markings. The full-metal construction includes the housing, handguard, trigger, and numerous other external components. This gives the FREYA R15 a high-quality feel and provides a stable foundation for regular use on the airsoft field. The modern 13-inch skeleton handguard features an M-LOK mounting system and offers versatile options for attaching compatible accessories. Its generous cutouts create the characteristic look of the FREYA series. The continuous top RIS rail allows mounting of suitable optics, while the existing folding sights support flexible use. The fully black colour scheme emphasises the modern, tactical character of the FREYA R15. The subtle finish matches a wide range of airsoft gear and makes this variant particularly versatile.

GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® – intelligent electronic control

The electronic heart of the DIAMOND EXTREME is the factory-installed GATE ASTER II Bluetooth®. This modern electronic control unit replaces the classic mechanical switching technology with precise electronic detection of the trigger pull and enables extensive tuning of the drive system. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth® interface, the ASTER II can be connected directly to the GATE Control Station (GCS). The software is available for compatible devices with Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS. This allows various electronic settings to be conveniently made via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Special advantages include individually adjustable trigger sensitivity, electronic safety functions, and options for system monitoring and diagnostics. The precise trigger detection enables a very direct translation of the trigger movement and supports particularly responsive shooting behaviour. The ASTER II Bluetooth® is thus much more than a simple MOSFET: it forms a modern electronic control centre that allows targeted optimisation of the interaction between trigger, motor, and gearbox.

Important for Germany: This weapon is offered exclusively as an S-AEG with semi-automatic single-shot function (semi only). Each trigger pull fires a maximum of one shot. Fully automatic, burst, binary, and other M
fire control functions are not available on the German version and must not be activated. 35K Brushless Motor – fast trigger response with high efficiency Delta Armory equips the DIAMOND EXTREME with a powerful 35K brushless motor. Unlike conventional electric motors with carbon brushes, this one operates without mechanical brush contacts. This eliminates the typical brush wear while enabling efficient power transmission. Especially in a high-quality S-AEG, the combination of brushless motor and modern electronic control is noticeable. The motor responds quickly to signals from the GATE ASTER II Bluetooth® and thus supports direct response during rapid single shots. Together with the CNC-made 16:1 steel gears, a dynamic drive system is created, designed for fast power transmission and efficient operation. DIAMOND EXTREME gearbox with CNC 16:1 steel gears A key feature of the DIAMOND EXTREME series is the extensively upgraded gearbox. Delta Armory uses CNC-made steel gears with a 16:1 ratio here, enabling fast and reliable power transmission. The gearset is complemented by a CNC-made cylinder head, a precisely manufactured CNC nozzle, and a high-quality stainless steel cylinder. The spring guide is also made of stainless steel and designed for stable guidance of the main spring. A high-quality Airsoft Parts POM piston head completes the compression system. The reinforced piston has a full metal tooth row and is thus tailored to the mechanical demands of the powerful drive. The gearbox operates with 8-mm metal ball bearings, supporting low-friction gear mounting. A high-quality tappet plate or feed lever from the SHS component range complements the design. This combination provides the FREYA R15 with a high-quality technical base, where many components are already at a level out of the box that simpler airsoft rifles only reach through later upgrades. Berserker hop-up – precise and consistent BB trajectory Delta Armory also relies on high-quality components for the precision system. The DIAMOND EXTREME features a Berserker hop-up system that allows controlled adjustment of the BBs’ backspin. The hop-up significantly influences the trajectory of an airsoft BB. The targeted backspin stabilizes the flight path and improves effective range. This requires proper adjustment and high-quality BBs. Combined with the Berserker hop-up, a 6.03-mm precision inner barrel about 330 mm long is used. This supports consistent BB guidance and forms the basis for consistent shooting results together with the hop-up system. Especially in a high-quality S-AEG like the FREYA R15, the interplay of clean BB feeding, precise hop-up, and consistent drive performance is crucial for reproducible accuracy. QRS quick-change system – thoughtful maintenance friendliness The FREYA R15 features Delta Armory’s proven QRS quick-change system. This allows the main spring to be changed without disassembling the entire gearbox. This significantly simplifies maintenance and technical adjustments. Additionally, the platform has a quick-change system for the motor, making corresponding service work more comfortable. The delivery includes two additional main springs in strengths M110 and M120. This provides suitable spare or tuning springs for the platform. In the German S-AEG version, changes to performance-relevant components are only permitted within the framework of the applicable
permitted under firearms law regulations. Ergonomic Delta Stock and modern FREYA equipment The equipment includes the modern Delta Stock, specially developed for the FREYA series. The adjustable shoulder rest features a rubberized pad and allows comfortable adjustment to the individual posture. The pistol grip has also been revised compared to older versions. In addition to its ergonomic shape, it has a well-thought-out design for adjusting the motor pressure. With a variable overall length of approximately 765 to 845 mm, the FREYA R15 can be adapted to different game situations. The weight is about 2,239 g, making the weapon comparatively handy despite its high-quality metal construction. A robust steel flash hider, an adjustable rear sight, and an individual serial number complete the equipment. Our battery recommendation – Delta Armory 11.1 V LiPo with 1,450 mAh and 30C For the Delta Armory GP R15 FREYA DIAMOND EXTREME, we explicitly recommend the Delta Armory LiPo 11.1 V with 1,450 mAh, 30C, and T-Plug connector (item number DA-BAT-15). This battery impresses with its high capacity of 1,450 mAh and its compact stock-type design. It offers sufficient energy reserves for longer game days and fits perfectly into the stock of the FREYA R15 according to our practical experience. The discharge rate of 30C allows a high current output and supports the reliable supply of the powerful 35K brushless motor. The existing T-Plug connector fits directly to the weapon’s connection, so no adapter is needed. With this battery, the FREYA R15 receives a suitable power supply without compromising the available space in the stock. Our recommendation: Delta Armory LiPo 11.1 V / 1,450 mAh / 30C – Stock Type with T-Plug (DA-BAT-15) Delta Armory DMAG Mid-Cap magazine with 120 rounds The FREYA R15 comes with a Delta Armory DMAG Mid-Cap magazine with a capacity of 120 Airsoft BBs. Unlike a classic high-cap magazine, this one does not require winding via a knurled wheel. The mid-cap system is especially suitable for players who value reliable BB feeding and a realistic gameplay experience. A suitable Airsoft speedloader is recommended for comfortable filling.
