The new Glock Marksman Barrel barrels were developed as part of the US Army tender and feature an advanced polygonal barrel profile. The new deep black nDLC finish is significantly more resistant to corrosion and scratches. The sights have also been improved and equipped with a significantly larger light gap for rear sight and front sight. This results in a better sight picture, especially in adverse visibility conditions.The front serrations make loading or checking the readiness status now practical and quick from the front.The grip frame is based on the new ergonomic design of the Gen5 - without finger grooves. This provides the shooter with better handling, as the hand size is no longer predetermined by the width of the finger grooves. The large full-size frame of the Glock 45, adopted from the G17, has a high magazine capacity. The redesigned GEN5 magazine well features an internal magazine funnel, with the grip frame slightly flared outward. This makes reloading significantly easier and faster. Even in poor lighting conditions, the orange follower in the empty magazine is immediately visible. Other new features include a smoother trigger and an ambidextrous slide stop lever, making the pistol equally easy to operate from both left and right.The MBS Modular Back Strap grip frame offers a significant advantage: the circumference of the grip frame can be adjusted to the individual hand size of the shooter using the included backstraps. The magazine base plate has a larger contact surface and is interchangeable.
