Offered on consignment, this firearm is renowned by shooters worldwide for its legendary reliability and military-grade manufacturing quality.

The Finnish Heritage: The “Premium Kalashnikov”

The Valmet M76 is directly derived from the Finnish army’s standard assault rifle (the Rk 62). Built around a Kalashnikov-type mechanism, the M76 benefits from the precise machining and high-quality steels characteristic of Valmet productions. This version features wood furniture (stocks, pistol grip, and handguard), offering a classic look and excellent ergonomics.

Technical Features and Condition

Reliable Mechanism: Proven gas-operated system, CNC machined to strict tolerances.

Versatile Caliber: Chambered in .222 Rem, an ideal caliber for recreational shooting, mid-range precision shooting (accurate reloading), or pest control.

Competition-Grade Sights: The M76 has a peep sight system (diopter type) that is particularly clear, combined with a protected front sight, allowing highly accurate shots at 100-200 meters.

Exceptional Condition: This firearm is in excellent overall condition (visible in photos 0 and 1). The wood is beautifully grained and free of significant marks. The metal parts’ bluing is very well preserved.

Brand History: Valmet

The Finnish company Valmet (Valtion Metallitehtaat) earned a worldwide reputation for producing military and civilian firearms after World War II. Their expertise in heavy metallurgy and fine engineering resulted in AK/Rk-type platforms among the most precise and robust ever made. Owning a Valmet means holding a piece of technical and ballistic history.

Did You Know?

The Valmet M76 is often considered the best AK variant ever produced. Unlike standard AKs, Finnish fitting quality almost eliminates all functional play, giving it astonishing accuracy for a platform of this type.
