Fans of vintage firearms will appreciate this replica of the famous Wehrmacht MP-40 developed by GSG. Previously available only in .22 LR caliber, it is now accessible in its original caliber for the greatest pleasure of sport and recreational shooters.

Vintage made accessible:

Iconic of World War II battles, the Schmeisser MP40 submachine gun is a well-known figure among both enthusiasts and novices. Used by Axis forces on all fronts, it was primarily reserved for elite troops and officers, capable of delivering the firepower essential for blitzkrieg warfare and shock operations.

Thompson M1A1, PPSH, and Sten are its contemporaries until the appearance of the first assault rifles.

The original MP40 is now rare and expensive, and few are still fit for shooting. Military collectors and history enthusiasts now have the opportunity to acquire a replica made by a German specialist in recreational firearms. The controls and dimensions are faithfully reproduced to offer the user handling sensations closest to the original.

Features:

The GSG MP40 is a semi-automatic firearm chambered in 9x19 mm.

Bearing the traits of the genuine MP40, the GSG offers not only a silhouette faithful to the original but also realistic operation.

It indeed features many characteristics of the veteran:

â–º Open bolt firing with blowback bolt.
â–º A rotary fire selector under the weapon’s frame.
â–º A detachable straight magazine with a capacity of 10 cartridges, removable via a side button.
â–º A folding skeleton stock, reducing bulk in a vehicle or for airborne troops.
â–º A rear sight with double folding leaves, complemented by an interchangeable front sight protected by a tunnel.
â–º Two integrated sling mounts.
The innovations brought by GSG consist of using modern materials in manufacturing this firearm, mostly made of zamak and plastic (the original already featured a significant amount of bakelite). The whole remains robust and offers the durability guarantees of a standard firearm, with a perfectly credible weight.
Made in Germany.
