Break-action rifle K5 Merkel Extreme fluted cal. 270 Win

Finer, more manageable, and, according to Merkel themselves, a bit more beautiful than its predecessors K3 and K4, the new Merkel K5 single-shot rifle is designed to be dynamic and elegant while being 100% functional. It’s the ideal weapon for mountain hunting where weight and bulk are the main enemies. Extreme version with fluted barrel.

The firearm is equipped with a completely silent separate manual cocking lever that requires very little force to operate. It is designed with an extremely short break-action block that is easy to disassemble, quickly rendering the firearm unfit to fire. The trigger system, revised and improved, is adjustable in length and laterally. With a trigger pull weight of only 600 g and a wider trigger shoe, the titanium nitride fine trigger of the Merkel K5 is easy to use with all fingers and hand shapes.

The pistol grip and fore-end are elegantly finished with ebony. The grade 4 wood stock features sling swivel studs. The 17 mm diameter fluted barrel is equipped with the removable universal i-Sight sight system and an M15x1 muzzle thread. The sights can be quickly removed with a 6-sided wrench (included).
