Particularity & rarity

This is a BNZ 42 produced by Steyr, considered one of the rarest models of the 1942 production. This series, manufactured mid-war, is part of very small quantity productions, making it a particularly sought-after model by collectors.

Its rarity is reinforced by the presence of a bolt housing subcontracted to “Astrawerke,” generally found on productions coded BCD — an uncommon configuration on a BNZ.
