Triebel Multi Neck Sizing Die Caliber Group .338 / 8.5 mm

The multi-neck sizing die calibrates the fired cartridge case at the neck. It consists of the die body, the hardened neck sizing ring, two spacer bushings, the spindle with the inside expander, nut and locknut, and the ejector pin with union nut. The outside sizing occurs when the cartridge case is pushed into the die. Suitable for all cartridges loaded with bullets of .338 diameter and whose maximum diameter before the extractor groove (P1) is no larger than 13 mm. Large cartridges like the .338 Lapua Magnum do not fit.

The inside neck sizing takes place when the case is pulled out of the die. This ensures a firm bullet seating. For short cartridge cases, the neck sizing ring is installed in the lowest position. For longer cases, one or both spacer bushings can be swapped downward as desired. If the neck sizing ring is installed in the lowest position, the inside expander must also be screwed downward. The case holder does not need to rest against the die!

The cartridge case is inserted into the case holder and brought to the top position with the press ram. By screwing the die deeper and pressing the case further, the neck is sized to the desired length. Screwing the die in too far can crimp the case. The correct die position is set on the press and fixed with the locknut. The die fits all presses with the standard 7/8-14 thread.

The multi-neck sizing die is the tool of choice for standard demands for quick and easy neck sizing of cartridge cases of the same caliber group, e.g. .30 or .223.
