S&W Mod. 686 Target Champion PILUM 6" - Cal. 357 Mag.

The Smith & Wesson 686 PILUM is a high-quality match revolver in caliber .357 Magnum, specially designed for demanding sport shooters. Based on the proven model 686 Distinguished Combat Magnum, this special edition combines top precision with robust construction and state-of-the-art features. The revolver features a 6" precision barrel and the sturdy L-Frame stainless steel frame. Thanks to the balanced weight distribution of approx. 1.32 kg, the revolver stays particularly steady when shooting and allows very good control even during rapid fire sequences. Special attention was paid to the exact cylinder-barrel alignment, resulting in very high repeat accuracy. The finely tuned SA/DA trigger system ensures a silky smooth double-action trigger as well as a very precise single-action trigger – ideal for sporting precision disciplines. The high-quality match sights consist of an adjustable rear sight and a Scheuring 2-stage front sight, enabling quick and precise target acquisition. Additionally, the revolver has a mounting interface for red dot sights, making it perfectly suited for modern sport disciplines. Visually striking is the exclusive NILL Combat walnut grip with Roman ring weave design and SPQR detail. The special model is named “PILUM,” inspired by the historical weapon of the Roman legionaries, symbolizing stability, precision, and reliability.
