They’re designed to control and/or adjust the amount of neck sizing by using bushings to reshape the outside of the case neck. This eliminates the usual expander ball, increasing concentricity and case life.
The die is used with an Arbor press and sizes the neck 3/16" (4.8 mm) from the case mouth, a method preferred by many shooters.
Bushings are not included. The dies also include a decapping pin.
